The Very Big Indie Pitch (Mobile+PC+Console Edition) at Pocket Gamer Connects Jordan 2026

The Big Indie Pitch – the intense international quick-fire indie game competition – is coming to Amman as part of PG Connects Jordan 2026 (November 7–8), made possible by Xsolla!

Our unique speed dating format gives each developer 5 minutes (including Q&A) with each room of expert judges, meaning entrants will get feedback in real-time and post-event via email too. Think speed-dating for developers and experts, and you get the idea.

That’s not all though, as the top three will also be interviewed and get editorial coverage across Steel Media’s, making this a great chance to get you, your studio and your game played by the world. There’s also free tickets and event space at a future Pocket Gamer Connects up for grabs to the winner too.

What? How? Who?

How it’ll work couldn’t be simpler. We’re inviting indie developers of all shapes and sizes along to pitch their games to our teams of tame industry experts, publishers, veteran developers, and media.

Approximately 15 teams will run the gauntlet, giving their all in quickfire 5-minute pitches to demonstrate that their title is worthy of The Big Indie Pitch crown and coverage in the games media.

If you fancy the chance of winning The Big Indie Pitch, getting signed up couldn’t be easier.

The basic criteria:

• You can pitch games for Mobile, PC, and Console
• You can pitch your game even if you’ve pitched it at a previous BIP
• We prefer to see unreleased games, though we’re happy to see games that are out too
• We allow studios with a max of 12 members to enter the Big Indie Pitch (this includes the staff of any partners you are working with)

All submissions will be notified if they are successful in their application to pitch at the event. Please note that all entrants must be able to attend the event and Steel Media will not cover costs associated with getting to the event.

The closing date for entries is October 28, 2026.
