The Big Indie Pitch returns to Barcelona! As with most Big Indie Pitches, this means that you will get the chance to pitch your game to our panel of international games industry experts.

This quick-fire format is ideal for those looking to practice their pitch and get their game in front of more experts for feedback. Each developer has only 5 minutes at each table, including Q&A, to pitch their game before moving onto the next.

That’s not all though, as the top three will get editorial coverage across Steel Media’s, making this a great chance to get you, your studio and your game played by the world. There are usually also free tickets and event space at a future Pocket Gamer Connects up for grabs to the winner, too.

What? How? Who?

How it’ll work couldn’t be simpler. We’re inviting indie developers of all shapes and sizes along in order to pitch their games to our teams of tame industry experts, publishers, veteran developers and media.

Approximately 15 teams will run the gauntlet, giving their all in quickfire 5-minute pitches to demonstrate that their title is worthy of the Big Indie Pitch crown and coverage in the games media.

If you fancy the chance of winning the Big Indie Pitch, getting signed up couldn’t be easier.

The basic criteria:

• You can pitch games for Mobile
• You can pitch your game even if you’ve pitched it at a previous BIP
• We prefer to see unreleased games, though we’re happy to see games that are out too
• We allow studios with a max of 12 members to enter the Big Indie Pitch (this includes the staff of any partners you are working with)

All submissions will be notified if they are successful in their application to pitch at the event. Please note that all entrants must be able to attend the event and Steel Media will not cover costs associated with getting to the event.

The closing date for entries is Monday, June 1, 2026.
